DAY 01: MARGARITA ISLAND-CARIPE
Early morning you will be picked up you're your Hotel, From the Marina of el Faro in Porlamar we will take the typical boats to the nearest mainland coast point of Chacopata. There we will continue our bus journey to the town of Cariaco at about 30 minutes ahead. We will stop for a full breakfast at "Finca MESIE", a charming little farm with spring waters and a natural pool. From here, we start our ride thru mountains until reaching altitudes of 1800 ms. above sea level, enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and visit a typical farm house before reaching CARIPE and visit THE GUACHARO´S CAVE, a cave with more than 2 Kms. long named after the birds that inhabit the cave (between 10.000 and 18.000 Guacharos live inside) . Lunch in a restaurant in nearby zone and continue toward LA PAILA, a small waterfall reached walking through the mountain. At sunset you can see the Guacharo Birds coming out of the cave. Continue to the Farm, arrival, dinner and lodging. |

DAY 02: CARIPE-MATURIN (ORINOCO DELTA)
Breakfast and departure via MATURIN, until reaching SAN JOSE DE BUJA an hour and half later, this town is the entrance to ORINOCO DELTA, many stories have been lived and built at this magnificent and mysterious place. We you will take the boats for a trip to the Indian Communities of Warao Indians to observe the way they live, their arts and to observe the flora and fauna of the Region. A light lunch is served and later we continue our trip through the DELTA hoping to catch sight of exotic animals. We then return to go to our lodge "Rancho San Andres" a cattle farm in the plains of MATURIN "Llanos de Monagas", dinner and lodging at Camp. For the adventurers a sunset horseback ride can be available (paid separately).
DAY 03: MATURIN-CUMANA-MARGARITA ISLAND
For those who love to wake up early Rancho San Andres offers them the opportunity to join with the farm activities, the mini zoo and watch the sunrise in Los Llanos with all the birds of multiple sounds. We will take breakfast and then we take the buses to go to CUMANA. On our way we will stop at BALNEARIO MIRAFLORES to take a walk through the river until reaching the Gates, this 60 ms. high natural walls that create the sensation that you are in a cave. At the en of the gates we will find a small place where we can take a dip in the river water. Lunch will be provided in our way back to Cumaná, at the city we take a short city tour and then we will go to the airport to take the flight in Porlamar. At Isla Margarita the buses will await us to return to the Hotel.
