DAY 01: PORLAMAR-CUMANA-MOCHIMA
Breakfast. Early departure to Cumaná. You will make a stop at the pleasant MOCHIMA BAY. Here on board the fishermen wooden boats you will reach Playa Blanca, where you will have time to enjoy the water and the whiteness of this beach. Return to the harbor to take the bus to continue to Cumaná. Upon arrival you will enjoy a ride through the city. Lodging and dinner at Los Bordones hotel. |

DAY 02: CUMANA- CUEVA DEL GUACHARO - CARIPE
Breakfast. From Cumaná you will go toward the town of Caripe stopping at the Guacharos`s cave. During the bus ride you will enjoy a view of the beautiful scenery of the Venezuela's landscape, stop in the MIRAFLORES RIVER for a swim and then continue to the Guacharos´s Cave. Once at the cave you will take a walk into it to discover this natural monument and the nocturnal birds "THE GUACHAROS" that inhabit here which the cave owes its name. Then we will continue toward Caripe. Lodging at la Hacienda Campo Claro.
DAY 03: CARIPE - ORINOCO´S DELTA
Breakfast and departure via Maturin toward Boca de Uracoa, where you will board the motor boats that will bring you on a ride along the Orinoco´s Delta until you reach "Orinoco Delta Camp". Light lunch on the way. After you arrive at the camp you will be taken on a walking excursion through the delta´s jungle. Return to the Camp.
DAY 04: Orinoco delta
Breakfast. In the morning you will go on a boat ride to visit the Waraos Indian Communities and before returning to the camp you will make a stop to try to catch the fearful "PIRAÑA DEL ORINOCO". After lunch we will depart from the camp and return to the port where we will take the buses to "Rancho San Andres", we will arrive evening time, Dinner and Overnight at the Hacienda.
DAY 05: Hacienda San Andres – Carupano
Breakfast. We will have time to tour this beautiful place, walking or horseback riding (available and optional) and we can enjoy the facilities of the mini-zoo at San Andres. Mid-morning we will continue towards Peninsula Paria. Lunch pack will be served when we arrive to the Thermal Springs of "Agua Santa". Afterwards we visit the buffalo Farm "Rio de Agua" and end our journey later on at the town of "San Juan de las Galdonas", a typical fishermen village. We stay overnight at Hotel Las Pioneras, where we will dine also.
DAY 6: River Santa Lucia
Breakfast. We board the boats to the town of Santa Islabel, travelling along the beautiful coast of Peninsula Paria and enjoying the sights of dream beaches. At Santa Lucia we start our walk up river through the forest enjoying the contact with nature. We return to the town and enjoy a typical lunch, then we board the boats to start our return. On the way, we stop at a chosen beach for swimming and relaxing. Late afternoon we return to the hotel, enjoy sunset and dinner.
DAY 7:
Breakfast and leisure time before starting our rid back to Carupano, where we catch our flight back to Margarita Island. On the way to Carupano, we visit a cocoa plantation "Hacienda Bucare", where we may watch the process of making chocolate from pure organic grown cocoa, We stop at the town Rio Caribe and have lunch in the fishermen village Morro de Puerto Santo. When we reach Carupano and time allows for it, we drive past The Cathedral, Plaza Bolivar and other sights. About noon we get to the airport to take the flight back to Margarita Island Transfer to hotels
