Entry requirements: A valid passport is required along with a visa or tourist cart provided by the airline.
Drug Penalties: Every person is subject to the laws of the country he is in. Penalties for posession, consumption and dealing with illegal drugs are severe. Long prision sentences are common. The conditions in the Venezuelan prisions are extremely hard.
Travel Tips:
- Use light cotton or linnen clothing
- Always use sunscrean with high SPF (30 and higher)
- Drink plenty of liquids (non alcoholic)
- Use hats, caps, etc.
- Do not take long sun bathes. You will tan in the shade as well.
- Do not excersise outside at noon
- If you have a traffic accident, DO NOT MOVE THE CAR. Wait for the local police to arrive at the accident site.
