Climate is arid and semi-arid with two rainy seasons and two dry seasonas different according to geographic location. The rainy season in the esastern Mountain Range  is from November to January, most rainy in December. In the rest of the territory the rainy season runs from June to August, most percipitation in August.

Promedium annual temperature varies between 27ºC and 28ºC, hottest in May and September, coolest in December and January.

There are no marked seasons in Venezuela and Margarita Island. We recommend to take precausions exposing to the sun, because the rays are stronger here than in other regions of similar latitude.

Margarita Island rises from the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, north of Venezuela, with a surface of 1.071 km2, 315 km of coastline and beautiful beaches with promedium water temperatures between 25 ºC and 30ºC. Margarita Island forms with Coche and Cubagua the state Nueva Esparta. The islands are located outside the hurricane belt.
